I have a thing for vintage alarm clocks, so it's no surprise that I also have a natural affinity for the Westclox watches.

Colored dials are always fun to stumble upon - and this is a beauty.
The red face is very clean, crystal and case have some natural signs of wear and tear.
Perfectly complemented by a brand new tan suede band with contrast stitch.

This is an automatic style - so it gets it's energy from the movement of your wrist.
As you go about your day, your movement winds the watch's rotor - giving it power.
I recommend winding it each day for an extra boost.
If you are not wearing it every day, you can give it a short wind to get it going and it will regain power as you begin moving again.

I have always had a thing for old watches. There is something about the character of an old watch that defines "Old School Cool" for me.

It actually inspires me to see them faithfully keep time year after year.
And I love imagining the life a watch had before it came into my hands.

When I was growing up, my dad took great care of his two boys but he never splurged on anything for himself. 
But the one thing that he loved was a great watch.
I must have inherited that love from him.
