At the Museum of Jazz in New Orleans, I listened to the most soulful music I'd ever heard & learned about local musicians who changed the shape of American music & culture with the power of their art. This season, I tried to recreate the soul of the Blues I heard in New Orleans & capture the rhythm & melody created by the combination of color & pattern.
